I can't believe I missed this story before!
Crucial footage of an upcoming independent movie was stolen along with a laptop Tuesday in Pueblo.
Film crews working on the cinematic remake of author Ayn Rand's best-seller "Atlas Shrugged," were in town earlier this week and shot a few scenes of the steel mill and the historic Union Depot.
It was at the depot where first-assistant director Daniel Katzman's backpack and laptop were stolen between 8 and 8:30 p.m.
Important film stuff on a personal laptop, eh? Funny. Really funny.
And oh man, what a blunder by Katzman. He'll never get a job yelling at the gaffers that they have ten minutes to finish the lights again. It'll be back to second-assistant director ("Danny, how come the batteries in the walkies aren't charged?!?") at best for him now.
