Can you tell the difference? That's right; the US cover is slightly fuzzed out, as though someone pressed a button marked GAUZE in Illustrator. I suppose this helps obscure the teensy bit of nipple and also serves to all but eliminate the third figure in the image.
You know what's tricky? Reading pornography on the train! I wonder how the newsstands in Penn Station sell all that real visual porn. Even the fuzzed-out cover didn't help; I had to place the book inside a copy of Black Static magazine. I started with the Achy Obejas story--I have a prejudice in favor of "real" writers; sorry pornheads--and her story "Kimberle" was very good. She also has a poem by that name. Oooh, biocrit off the starboard bow! Anyway, the story also had a serial killer in it. Check it out.
