Speaking of, I'll be running two classes at the Writing Salons in January and February.

The commercial fiction workshop will be five Mondays: Jan. 24-Feb. 21, 7-9:30 p.m. Berkeley.

Then I'm having a Q/A on the business of commercial fiction (getting an agent, writing a query letter, etc.) on Feb 11, 7PM to 10PM. That's a Friday, to name a night you should get used to staying home on if you want to be a writer. And not because you'll be too busy to go out and have fun either.

So if your New Years Resolution is to finally shit or get off the pot when it comes to writing, think of my classes as a special seminar in what comes out of butts.
