I wasn't aware that Labor Day was supposed to be a patriotic holiday...then again, it's only been the last few years that I've been seeing Independence Day associated with the current US military as opposed to, you know, history. I suppose in a few more years, when the only jobs left are military and security jobs, I'll see Facebook updates reading, "God bless our troops on Labor Day, for keeping the oil flowing with their hard work!"
