My story Willow Tests Well is now live on Pseudopod, the famed horror podcast. I submit reprints to 'pod a lot, and most often get rejected with a "it was between you and one other" rejection slip. I was pleased to get in this time, as I think the story might have been buried in the very nice but very large Psychos anthology (John Skipp ed.) in which it first appeared. I also learned the secret to placing stories in that venue—write something nobody likes. As the editorial letter said, "It's nasty and the literary-types of our listeners will hate it and the modern genre-savvy nerds will hate it because they don't have a sense of humor and will take it too seriously..."
So remember, consider the audience, then annoy them, and you too can be...me.
